Hey, it's the GREATEST AMERICAN AVATAR. THATGIRL, are you trying to be Holly?

I agree that she was not top caliber to head a series. However, since Sunday night programming was supposed to be more educational than entertaining back then, maybe they wanted someone on the same intelligence level as a five-year-old. Okay. Some of my TODDLERS are way smarter than Holly, mkay?

I still wonder if Holly was meant to be acted that way or not. That was the fastest turnaround from intellectual to ditz I ever saw. I may rewatch it and determine the good points of Holly.

Easy. . .she knows how to make a fingerpaint bird. That's about it.

She MAY know more...after all, she seemed intellectual when Ralph was scouting her...the stalker.

That's my biggest pet peeve with Holly herself ... she was intellectual until she got the suit. That too ruined the character. I think she was miscast, Ralph, Pam and Bill were written wrong (yes... to some degree with Pam, HD.) and I could do a dossier on the suit errors and plot. I know HD doesn't like my idea with it, but I still see the way it was done as a dream. The only thing more confusing and tedious related to a show in some form was the Monkees movie "Head." I'm not sure even Lauren likes that one... though it has good moments, just like "GAHeroine" (Though there were more even in "Head," I'll say).
Pam would beat Holly in a suit wearing contest (not to mention brains and beauty, inside and out). While she'd have problems wearing the suit hence the way I wrote it in "Scenario Switcharoo" she'd at least learn them logically and not some dumb sports practice routine. What was Bill doing teaching suit powers with sports? Holly was going to save the whales in the episode... not compete in the Olympics. (But, that might've worked better as a plot... though the Seoul and Calgary Olympics weren't going to be around until two years later.)

I think Pam was written the best and most likely. She was still strong and independent in this one, but she knew she had to stand behind Ralph with Bill. Plus, she was the one that got the waterworks flowing at the good-bye scene. She is the most realistic and that is why I see it as happening. Otherwise, she would have been out in left field with Ralph...and Bill. For a dream, Bill is a REAL push-over. He always fought with Ralph, but he just rolled over for this dummy. He was happy about saving the whales, which isn't bad, but there wasn't a HUGE federal case involved...only DESPERADO had that. Plus, Bill warmed up to the kid right away too. He only let Pam because she had SEEN it in action...the little girl was just listening to her foster mother. Bill is a real wuss in his dreams then. Finally, I see it as a real happening because how would Bill know what the Hinkleys were told on the ship? Ralph didn't seem to give him ALL of that lowdown...just the fact that the suit had to be passed on and that Bill would stay on the team. Besides, Culp WANTED it to be a girl and it was not written as a dream to that regard. Square blocks in those round holes again, you know, MelMac.

I know HD doesn't like my idea with it, but I still see the way it was done as a dream. A dream? LOL ;D Yes, a dream! Especially after Bill gets some kind of severe head injury. . .maybe Ralph flew him into a brick wall!!! . . .or 3

That's okay. Once SJC hires me to help him, I will convince him to do a new series OVER the feature film and we will have SEVERAL references to Holly and how she had the suit...THEN, you will all just have to deal.

HD, I really wonder about you and your dreams (that's actually a bit scary thinking about now). Don't know about some people, but I've dreamt all parts of a story, including what people whom are away from where I'm located are in their own separate scene. It's possible regardless. As far as having one like that after being knocked unconscious like I did with Bill in "Ties..." I'd rather not ever have to experience that for myself. (Irony there Miss D. Don't know if you've read the story, but that's what happened in "Ties...") I just took an idea I had and wrote a story, that's it. Now, I did put in Holly as a dream, but I could've wrote it without Holly. If I did that, however, I'd had to write a bit as to what happened to her. I do have a story idea for a Holly/Bill story, and might still write it. If you must know: It's not a why she gives up/loses the suit and Ralph gets it back. It's a normal story. After writing it, I could write why she doesn't have the suit anymore and why Ralph had it. (OK, gotta remember Mac... differences of opinion are like onions... some like them, others think they stink. )

Yup...might as well be wearing garlic. Hey, don't give me any ideas or I'll turn do a story where Tony into a vampire (through hypnosis by the bad guys or something) and seem to want to attack Aidan first then later on some fancy multi-millionnaire... named Derek. (Then again... that might be a good Halloween story... with either of the three wearers wearing the suit. )

I think that Holly was too gung ho for the sujperhero thing... I hated the fact that Holly told that brat about the costume... she wasn't really her daughter to start with.... I feel that there has to be some aprehension when a newbie is using a superpoered suit in the start...
I would rather see pamela in the suit as she does have a strong moral character and does things to help people every single day. I think that she understood what Ralph went through with the suit and would have been great to see her try her chops in the suit... If I am not mistaken, there was talk about her getting a costume of her own, but she was recovering from the birth of her baby. Still would have been nice to see something like that... I think it would have been cool to see it in a dream even....
