I think that it was great to see Connie be on the DVD releases as one of the interviews. She had a real fond remembrance of the show, which is nice, and she let us know all about the trials and tribulations she faced...including her pregnancy. I especially liked the part about dressing up her son as the Greatest American Hero more than once...and her daugther...and not as HEROINE either. I think she did well interviewing Michael too, although most of his interview was pointless and did very little to relate to the show, with the exception of his spiel about FIREMAN, his premiere episode. Connie did well under those circumstances, especially since she had not played Pam in almost twenty years.

I agree, she was quite enthusiastic, and seemed to have loved being involved in the show. I like to see that, and know that people enjoyed making these shows as much as we love watching them. I also like the insight into what happened every day on the set, like her and Michael going to McDonald's, and the like.
(OT: Bob Culp seemed very fond of it as well; disappointingly, although Katt seemed somewhat proud of the fact he was involved, you got the sense that it was not as genuine as Connie and Bob. Which is really sad, because he was so good at playing Ralph and the reason I know who he is at all).

I liked to see the interplay between old cast members, almost like they had never left. On the second season DVD extras, they did that dual interview with SJC and Mike Post. I think they should have done that with a couple of the actors like Katt and Culp or Connie and Katt, etc. I think the Pare interview was worthwhile BECAUSE Connie did it and you got to see some of the friendship that probably existed back then still show.

Yes, especially since she said she was about the same age as Michael Pare and company.

She did a much better job than them of ACTING older.

That she did. She was. . .sophisticated.

It's true...he sounded like a big baby when you go back and read interviews and when you listen to his commentary...it is amazing the show lasted as long as it did with him whining and such.

You know I think that if it weren't for GAH a lot of people wouldn't know who he is. I wouldn't.

Neither would I. I saw him in PROBLEM CHILD 3 but did not make the connection until the DVDs were released...then I knew where I had seen him. Granted, some might know him from CARRIE and HOUSE, but I didn't.

It was because I knew him from GAH that I ever watched Carrie. And I saw Problem Child 3. You know I love the man to death, but that was John Ritter's role, they shouldn't have given it to someone else even if Ritter had refused it (I want to remember that it was made before Ritter passed away. . .)

I agree...it was Ritter's all the way. And I have never seen his movies...don't care too. If I HAVE to watch Katt...might as well be playing opposite Pam.

LOL You mean to tell me you've never seen Carrie? It's an awesome movie, never mind the fact William Katt is in it. John Travolta is too. ;D
