OK (and yes, given I do remember this one too in syndication when I was young, and parts when I was little), I think Pam would've been good in this show too. She could've helped Wilma Deering and Buck Rogers as they fought the bad guys. (OK, it's been a while since I've seen the show too ) Pam could've helped Buck find out more about what happened to his family during the nuclear holocaust that happened while he was in suspended animation, possibly even see if there were more relics from his past standing other than Mt. Rushmore, the Great Wall of China, and some pyramids. And... I think she could give Theopolis (the computer that was basically an encyclopedia with a face) a run for his money. She'd probably have fun with Twiki though. (Only odd tidbit here I can share and make some sense... Twiki was voiced by Mel Blanc, who voiced several of the Looney Tunes Characters. To get an idea of Twiki's voice, listen to Taz speak, and you'll get a rough idea of Twiki. ) The one downside... Buck was played by Gil Gerard, who was Connie's husband, so that might've caused some problems.

You never know...it MIGHT have kept their marriage together too. I don't even know when this show was on, so it might have been before they met, but you never know. Stranger things have happened.

Stranger things have happened. 1979-1981, so yes, based on Connie's being pregnant, they were married around that time and had their son. And yes... I still remember GAH first.

After reading about how nutty they were with each other, and how happy they have been with other spouses, I'd say nothing was going to keep them together. Somehow, having a spouse fake her own death, (on more than one occasion), as a joke, would be a sticking point! LOL!
She's a pretty interesting character. Actually, she reminds me of my daughter's future mother-in-law. I always think of Connie when she is talking.

It'd been interesting how she'd played Wilma in this series too. Would she have been as strong willed and stubborn or would she have been a little more lighthearted... after they were sure Buck was a good guy. I have a book somewhere (Mom or Dad got it first), that is very good from this series (and is based on the series from the way they describe Theopolis). Poor Buck though... he ends up dealing with three women because the Draconians want his seed for a superrace. (and no... I won't spoil how, but they don't succeed)

I liked Twiki personally, but I was little when this was on. (ironically, he's another character I remember, though not well, from way back when). When Sci-Fi had a marathon, I recorded some of the episodes, and my favorite of the ones I have is the one where he and Wilma have to go to the bunker inside Mt. Rushmore. Considering there really is the beginnings of a hall of honor (to store a copy of important US documents) dug into the side of the monument, it worked well.
Funniest of all was at Six Flags, everytime I saw Taz, I'd hear Twiki's voice because of Mel Blanc doing both voices and them sounding similar. (But, try explaining the character to kids 10 years or so younger than you. Only one who did understand was the last Taz I worked along with. She was 26, just a bit young to see the show, but did know it.)
