I am sure no one is suprised by this choice as I have a great affiliation with the A-Team. Most people would probably say that Pam would have been great as part of the team instead of the other female stars. A lawyer is much more useful to the team than a news reporter would be. However, I think Pam would have been a horrible fit for the show. She was popular in her own right...courtesy of GAH and such. I think that she would have overshadowed the team and they would have had to give her more work or have gotten rid of her. The one place she could have been used was in the fifth season opener where the A-Team goes on trial. I think SJC could have written an awesome screenplay that allowed Pam to show off how the A-Team was innocent against the military court who probably already had their minds made up. I think she would have done them proud...and probably saved them. Of course, then something would HAVE to go wrong for them to be working for Stockwell and such, but Pam could have saved them I think. Otherwise, I think it was good that she was NOT part of this series.

I agree, given the way that the female actors were generally treated on the series. I know Amy Allen (well the character) was kicked off because George Peppard didn't like the actress, and given some of the animosity between the actors (well, two) it was a good thing that SJC didn't bring any GAH character to the series.
I also agree, she'd been best in the fifth season opener when they're on trial. But, they'd also probably have her react to the guys actually being alive at the end by fainting or some other weak female trait (I have to admit, I was creeped out seeing the three lying in coffins with the oxygen masks and being told they were given (a long time, so if I'm wrong apologies) strong sedatives).
And... knowing the show, they'd done some dumb bit where Pam ended up getting the mick instead of BA and the trio would have to deal with two unconscious people (once they slugged BA) on the plane. I know, a bit silly, but that's what I'd see.

No ideas about my scenario with Pam (or lack thereof) for this one?

Well, I meant that she would be done after the trial, but for some reason they had to go back underground. She would have NEVER fit in as the fifth team member because she was so strong-willed. Amy Allen was strong, but not Pam strong. She could have been the lawyer...maybe even a client at some point, but nothing else. Although it would be funny to see Face try to scam her...and fail.
