Jean-Robert makes me want to toss my cookies. Hey, you don't have to post if you don't like the thread. Personally, I believe you like to hear/see yourself speak/relay your opinion ;D Wasn't fond of Todd either, but at least he's a better winner than Hatch. I think too that Todd will pay his taxes because he knows that's the right thing to do. Courtney I was disappointed that she was technically second in the game, especially since she didn't really want to play in the first place. This past season the only ones I liked were Frosti, Lindsey (I think that was her name - the Christian radio show host) and James - when he was no where near Jean Robert. This season should be interesting IMHO, because of the balance between newbies and oldies. Amanda and James are at a slight disadvantage because they came off of China before this, but it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Can't be worse than the haves/have-nots twist when Earl won (though I loved it that the only person who did not get to experience the Haves camp won the whole thing if Yau-Man couldn't )

Yeah, didn't see it, but read he was out of the Micronesia game now too. That said, I think his final comments were very good - and words to live by as far as this game's concerned. I can't quite quote them exactly, but he said that he knew he had a target on his back given his gameplay in Fiji and respected the tribe's vote, that people are lucky to be on "Survivor" one time and he was honored to have a second chance at the game as well. He but didn't hold any hard feelings overall IMHO, and basically showed a lot of class. Sure, I could tell he was disappointed, but hey, I respect him more because he understands this is a game, and there's a bigger world than just "Survivor." I hope more fans of the show and those who are lucky to participate take those words to heart when they do play. It's probably why I still will watch the series over "Big Brother" which the less said about this cast the better. Now, if the public gets to vote for a favorite player - I hope and will vote many times to have him win. This guy, unlike some finalists in these votes (not all) has played the game, done very well even here in spite of a few mistakes (which - unlike many - admits he made in playing the game), and has been classy. He would be the most deserving player to receive that award should one be given. (Plus, James and Ozzy - whom I like too - have won popularity contests before, and I feel should be ineligible. ) I also like the fact he was willing to teach Fairplay how to be a good father. I hope that Fairplay takes that to heart, because I think Yau-Man would honor his word and teach him well. I know this is OT, but I given some of the grief I've read about the issue, I need to mention this. JFP, for all his irkdome stuff, at least realizes now that he has a responsibility to raise a daughter, and I do respect him for admitting it and getting voted out. Doesn't mean I agree with his reality show antics, BTW, (won't comment about his "Yau tackled me into the boat" bit) but at least he's learning and starting to grow up. Some players in the course of this show act more like a cast of mTV's "Road Rules" or other gross-immoral-crass reality shows. I wish him and Michelle Deighton-Fairplay (sorry, I don't know if she's taken both names or what - but she was on "America's Next Top Model") and their daughter the best. But back to Yau-Man. Don't know if he'll read a board for a character on a TV show, but I do wish him the best in everything he does. He's shown to audiences around the country that you don't have to be a snake, rat or basically rude/evil/witchy to play this game. You can be classy.
