I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought Yau-Man got treated like crap!!! I had a feeling that Dreamz was going to cheat him out of the immunity, but I can't believe that Earl voted against him!!! That made me quite angry.
And I never liked Cassandra.
*Did you see that they're doing next season in CHINA?*

*Sigh*
I expected better viewing habits from the BOTH of you!
And China is probably next year because of the Olympics being held there.

Did you know the easiest way to combat stern looks is to NOT look at them?

*Sigh* I expected better viewing habits from the BOTH of you! And China is probably next year because of the Olympics being held there. Derek, it's one of the few shows I actually watch present day. Most of the time I watch the good stuff like shows from the early '90s backward. "The Mole" was by far my favorite reality show because you have to really pay attention to try and figure out who the mole is. If they still had it and casted me, I'd have to be the mole. Got them right each time - and without the "clues" on TV. ================== That said, I was disappointed by Earl's vote, as it should've been down to a fire starting contest between Yau and Cassandra, but on the flip I understand why he did that. The vote was a respect vote, which while it too disappointed Yau, Earl's honesty in saying "I wouldn't win against you" is why he got Yau's vote. People have also said that if Yau did this it'd be called a "Great Strategic Move" by viewers because of his likability. Thing is... watching the season, do you think he'd really have done it? Uh un, because he would've thought it through instead of "Oooh, car (insert Homer Simpson drooling sound)." Dreamz as far as his attitude and such is worse that Richard Hatch (though I never thought it'd happen) and Johnny Fairplay from Pearl Islands. I think that if he admitted he changed his mind before the council, it'd at least have given him a shot at the million. When he said he was keeping it, he threw his chance at the mil away. If he really thought about it, had he given it to Yau, both he and Earl might've surprised Dreamz and voted out Cassandra. He might've still been in the game, and had a lot more respect from the jury (not all true, but some) and it might've been a little closer. What is worse is that he has really hurt himself in the real world doing this. Making a promise this strong and renegeing on it shows him in a bad light that will affect him getting quite a few jobs. If I could hire someone and saw him on TV, I'd be questioning what he was telling me at the very least (I couldn't say no right off because of "Right to Work" laws). Cassandra would even have a better shot at being hired, but not much. Yau and Earl both played this game well and showed themselves as good people who can play this game with overall honesty and integrity. Yau does it the best, and he is by far one of my top favorite players of all time. Tom (Pulau), Rudy, Elizabeth and Roger, Colby, Yul, Ethan, Ozzy, Michelle, Neleh and Pascal are my other favorites. Other than not giving Yau a chance to face Cassandra in a firemaking contest (though admittedly he'd won hands down there), Earl too showed honesty and played the game. I could tell they both were having fun as well as knew this was a game not real life like some of the jurors (Michelle is another exception there). I think they'll do well in the real world, even after the "Survivor" fame fades. And... I hope that they put Yau in an All-Stars version. He's likeable and one of the few times they actually chose well in casting the season.

Also, I've always felt they'd go to China or Japan too. (Russia is the third, but it's too cold even in the warmer months.) I think it'll be cool, and hopefully they won't do something as ridiculous as the haves/havenots twist again. It was a good idea in concept, but it worked better for Burnett's "Apprentice" show than it did here. I think the Hidden Immunity Idol being at the campsites was a nice twist, as it made finding it hard. I also wish that Dreamz had found that HII that Yau made and tried to use it at Final Five. That'd been just as interesting/funny. Here's the clincher too though now I think about it: Earl was the only ORIGINAL Ravu in the final three and he won. The havenots ended up winning that, even though he did end up lucking out and going to Moto for a couple of gos before the merge. And, as far as the logo, I think it's neat how they did the "Outwit, outplay, outlast" in Mandarin and not English. The logo really looks nice here, probably the best one since Pearl Islands.

YAU MAN IS COMING BACK THIS SEASON!!! ;D Yep, I liked him, and am glad he's back. Ozzy's back too, and I liked him as well. To a point, I'll even like seeing James back for this season, especially since Jean-Robert won't be around. I think James actually was likeable except around him.

Hey, you don't have to post if you don't like the thread. Personally, I believe you like to hear/see yourself speak/relay your opinion ;D
