Actually, there is a second one, made by filmation. That's where I get the Tracey the Gorilla bit. Not to mention Cheepie, Prime Evil, Braterat, Scared Stiff, etc. Thought about getting F-Troop too, but it's been ages since I've seen the show. (though remembering the theme song hasn't been too hard. Same goes with Maverick too.) I will repeat: The ONLY GHOSTBUSTERS is the one with Slimer. The other set was all a dream...you know about that right, Aidan?

OK, I realize that you'll never be happy until I write the Holly and Bill story I got in mind. As Mind's eye right now is a bit hung, I might write it first then finish Aidan's story. And... if you must know, I saw Jem out but didn't buy it. It's a show I watched when I was little too I liked. (then again, I also watched. "Rainbow Bright," "My Little Pony," "Care Bears," and a few other shows that you'd not recognize except through toys.) You know, however, you're getting old when you see a Claire's store selling Monchichi's... and they are very archaic as far as popular toys. Just thought of another one I'd like to see: "Webster." I liked that show, and cried when the apartment burned down. I also was creeped out about the whole mansion mystery as well when they moved in there. Would love to see the series just for that reason again.

I liked DIFFERENT STROKES when I was little too. I don't know if would hold the same charm now.

I was looking around on IMDB.com and TVSHOWSONDVD.com today and saw that the original TV show: THE ADDAMS FAMILY is being unofficially announced to release on October 24...the same day as the last season of MACGYVER...and right before Halloween. I don't know if it is the full series or just the first season, but THAT is something. I can't wait.

Apparently, the ADDAMS FAMILY will be released as a three volume set, which sucks because that means with only two seasons, that one disc will be half season 1 and half season 2. On the bonus side, there is a bonus disc, so that might help. They are coming out October 24th...DAMN, October is a great TV on DVD month for me.

Yeah, read about the Addams family some time ago coming out on DVD. Would like to read the comics they're based on sometime. And, John Austin (Gomez) was probably one of the best other replacements for bad guys on "Batman," though I think Frank Gorshin's Riddler is the best of the two. (I say one of the best given I like all three TV "Catwoman" portrayals.
Odd thing about that, the new Addams Family, the guy who played Gomez in that one had the original's mannerisms nailed down so pat is was spooky when Austin appeared as Gomez's father. They weren't related I believe, but the younger one sure could act like him.

I used to love watching TV. ;D And with the exception of Monk, I really don't watch TV shows anymore. I figure that once I get all my favorite shows on DVD, then I'll never have to watch television ever again!!! *hysterical laughter* Anyhoo, here's my dream list of shows, some are available, some are not... -Greatest American Hero (always been at the top, happy to have it) -Bosom Buddies -Family Ties -Mork and Mindy -The Incredible Hulk -Wonder Woman -The Monkees -Alf -Parker Lewis Can't Lose -Quantum Leap -Monk I'll also add 'I Spy' to my list, even though I can't recall watching an entire episode, I think that I would really enjoy it. Think one one them guys from GAH is on there...

I forgot about BOSOM BUDDIES. Good show. Of course, MORK AND MINDY was amazing too. I might add them to my already HUGE list, but they are like MONK...they will be farther down.

I wouldn't mind getting "Wonder Woman" or "Perfect Strangers" (well once the latter comes out). There also is another one I'd like to get someday: two of the vanilla DVD collections of the new series of "Doctor Who": The one with the two part WWII episodes and the last three of the season. Did see parts of them, and they're good (but last one's sad as they go through a regeneration there.) They don't come out until November, but that's cool. I think before then, they'll also release Inferno, a third Doctor one I'd also like to get.

Well, now, I have the full series of the A-TEAM and with any luck, I will today acquire the final season of MACGYVER and the first volume of THE ADDAMS FAMILY. I am also going to work on getting the first season of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? the uncensored edition. I use it for examples a lot in my communication classes...the students need to have SOME fun from me, right? I also need to pick up the ninth season of STARGATE SG-1...although I am not rushing to the store for it. Of course, next month, I WILL be getting one of my new favorites: HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER!!!>

Well... yes & no. The first volume is the firt season (plus four episodes from the last two seasons that were syndicated only). The second volume looks like the full season. Volume three is one-third of the third season (since this season was twice as long as the others). I've been looking for volumes three & four for cheaper than I've seen & five is about to come out, so I think I'll just get them all of Amazon. I don't know if you have managed to find volumes three through five for cheaper yet, but I thought I would let you know that the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Volume 6 is coming out December 5.

My current TV series discs are:
"I Spy" The Robert Culp Collection (Had to list that first, o'course) -- These two were my very first DVDs EVER! "I Spy" Box Sets 1 and 2 (of three) GAH - entire series (of course) Firefly - entire series
Maybe two Monty Python movies count, since they WERE a series? "Life of Brian" and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" -- could maybe add "Time Bandits" too, since many Pythons were involved
My WISH LIST, on the other hand:
Star Trek (Original) -- oddly enough, I didn't buy this when I had my money... I was too focused on Bill and Kelly shows Star Trek: DS9, esp the later seasons with the Dominion-Federation War Star Trek (Animated series) SG-1 through Season Eight (O'Neill eps) MASH from Season Six on (Charles eps) Babylon 5 (I totally missed the final year) The Bionic Woman (Ah, someday....) Any season of any series that has at least a couple of Robert Culp guest appearances ("Columbo" comes to mind)
And my all-time wish... which sadly probably won't come to fruition: WKRP in Cincinnati. They've got the same conundrum GAH faced: music that's still under royalty. Being a radio station, it'd be difficult to either change all the music, or pay lots of dollars in royalties.

If and when you ever get the 8th season of STARGATE SG-1, you and I will have to talk about the THREADS episode in the season. I read an article a while back that said some DVD cases had the FULL version and others had the TV version. I am unsure which one I have because the sales clerks knew nothing about it. Let me know.

Okay. So, over Christmas, I managed to score season 2 of NCIS. The day after Christmas, I went and bought season 1 of Criminal Minds. (These are two of my most favorite shows ever--after GAH and The Incredible Hulk, respectively).
So when I went to Best Buy and bought Criminal Minds, I saw something that I absolutely HAD to have, simply because I watched it on Nickelodeon as a kid: DANGER MOUSE (seasons 1 and 2).
I'm awesome.
