I hope you all have a great day. I will be busy: Shooting off my....fireworks. [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] And of course they are all invited to the festivities. If you can read what this sign on the door REALLY says...you are invited too: [ ] Don't feel bad that you could not read what it REALLY says...have a great Fourth anyway. In this context, it reads: DO NOT DISTURB.

Only ones we had here were real ones... we had a horrible storm. Dumped 6 to 8 inches on us and almost caused flash flooding. The display was postponed for Wednesday, which surprised me some. given as dry as it is here, if they were primed, they'd had to have set them off regardless as they were a fire hazard. So... Hopefully I'll get to see them tonight

I am impressed that they are not trying to cut costs by just waiting to use them next year...maybe there is even honor in Texas.

What? Some cities are cheap enough to NOT do something. After all, the holiday was yesterday so they can say that they can't do them now or something like that. I have studied governments for years...you never know what they might do.
